Welcome to Dripping Springs
A peaceful community of large lots and picturesque views
Dripping Springs is full of charm and perfectly located in central Texas Hill County, where the best views of nature surround your home and offer a variety of adventures within its parks. The community was founded in 1852 and named by one of the founders (Nannie Moss). The
name was inspired by the Milk House Branch of the Edwards Aquifer's “dripping springs.”
Today, the area's architecture varies by influences from the last couple of centuries. There is a mix of popular styles, including Queen Anne, country homes, bungalows, Spanish, Mediterranean, and Colonial. Each design is unique and beautiful, with many located in master communities that offer additional amenities, exclusive access, and community events.

The winter can get cold and windy, but they're typically short-lived, so local parks and gardens are full of happy faces and activities most of the year. However, when you're done walking trails, swimming in nearby lakes, fishing, and boating, some of the best breweries and wineries are located in or near Dripping Springs.
Dining, Entertainment, & Shopping
It's always a great time to take advantage of all the great breweries and wineries in the area. The hotspots locals gather at include Deep Eddy Distillery, Jester King, and Fitzhugh Brewing.
Deep Eddy Distillery is a beverage distributor with many great beer selections, cocktails, and plenty of seating for guests. Their Deep Eddy Vodka Tasting Room, in particular, is a hit for gathering with friends and family for drinks.
Jester King is another local favorite because it brews the best farmhouse ales in the area and offers tours and a tasting room. Last but certainly not least, Dripping Springs residents also love
Fitzhugh Brewing because there are vast amounts of outdoor space and the occasional Anniversary Party celebrating with drink specials and prizes.
