Bull Creek is a park along the river with various trails. For those just getting started with hiking, there are scheduled guided hikes at
Bright Leaf Preserve, with some great hilltop views.
Stillhouse Hollow Nature Preserve is also highly reviewed, although it only has one hiking trail.
